A new brand identity – Elevate Aircraft Seating – signals the next phase of growth for Adient Aerospace. Recent investments in operations and capacity will streamline deliveries and drive an expanding product portfolio

Over the past six and a half years, Elevate Aircraft Seating has evolved from a start-up into a major supplier of business-class seating in the aircraft interiors industry. Formerly known as Adient Aerospace, the company’s new name marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey as it transitions from using Adient’s name and brand identity (Adient is the largest supplier of automotive seating), to establishing a brand that reflects what the company is today and the direction in which it is headed.

Elevate has built a strong reputation, earning the confidence of leading airlines such as Hawaiian Airlines, Qatar Airways and, more recently, American Airlines and United Airlines.

Its flagship product, the Ascent business-class suite, has expanded from widebody platforms to narrowbody configurations, and is available for both Boeing and Airbus aircraft – fuelling a robust backlog of seat orders.

The name ‘Elevate Aircraft Seating’ closer reflects who we are today, and where we are going,” stated Alan Wittman, CEO.

“While the company name has changed, the renaming efforts will unfold gradually. Over the coming weeks and months, you will see the new Elevate Aircraft Seating identity integrated across the business.”

This evolution comes as the company is scaling up to meet the demands of its growing order book, making significant investments in manufacturing capabilities and talent. Elevate recently invested in an additional 365,000 sq ft (34,000m²) of production space at its Central Coast and Huntington Beach facilities in California. The company’s site in Kaiserslautern, Germany was also expanded recently.
